23 of December so memorable to Malawi Music industry as we lost the Music icon WALYCLIS (ACHALUME) from his famous song achalume.

He succumb to a Road accident on his was from a performance in the republic of South Africa , after participating on Lilongwe Golf Club ,on Love and hate album launch for Sir Lucius Banda the team left on a flight to Johannesburg where there all performed and on his return he travelled by bus and had an accident in Zimbabwe ,and he was the only one who lost life

BLASTO TRIP TO ZANZIBAR

Blasto ,the big deal on Malawi dancehall scene is set to depart for Zanzibar ,where he will represent Malawi at Zanzibar Reggae  Festival. which attracts international reggae and dancehall artist from all over the world.

he is yet to release a single “Still i Rise” which is part of the album Mlatho Riddim Vol.1 a riddim which comprise of different reggae & dancehall artist here in Malawi, the likes of Trumel, kellie devine, Di mantis ,akadaulo and many more.

Rastafari traditions, bringing Nyabhingi to open the 4th Edition Zanzibar Reggae Festival in just 2 short weeks starting from 5th of Augast,2022. So much unity, so many blessings, together they celebrate reggae.
